Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent.

We hold a service of Holy Communion with the Imposition of Ashes which marks an ancient tradition of signing the people of God with the sign of the cross in ash.  It is a reminder of Jesus death and resurrection.

The ashes are made from the previous years Palm Crosses.
