Christians Against Poverty – Debt Centre Manager Vacancy

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with a passion for helping the poor and a heart for personal evangelism who will have the opportunity to work alongside the current manager as a Debt Coach before taking on the full Debt Centre Manager role when the position becomes vacant in the Summer 2024.

The manager’s role includes publicising the work of the centre, managing and supporting a team of enthusiastic volunteers, visiting clients in their own homes, liaising with CAP’s debt advisory team and communicating CAP’s debt advice.

The manager must have a strong Christian faith and be able to actively take part in prayer and worship whether individual, in a small group or corporately.

This can be a voluntary or salaried post.  The time commitment is 16 hours per week, mostly within normal working hours of 9 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

Full training is provided by CAP Head Office as an online course.

All work expenses will be met.
